So now here we are planning our wedding day, oh how excited I am!
We have set the date as 16th July 2011 so just over a year to go. This weekend we booked the reception venue and the car that will take the bridesmaids and then my father and I to church and after the ceremony to take myself and Martin to the reception venue, phew well that's a couple of things sorted :)
I am going to be kept busy over the months to come making all my invitations and wedding favours but it will be so much fun!
It's that time of the year again and the wedding favour orders are coming in from lovely brides-to-be through the website and I can't describe how much more it means to be helping other brides make their day special while I'm also planning our special day!
I can make a range of favours for your wedding in a choice of colours and designs, please feel free to email me with questions or for a quote, info@countrychiccrafts.co.uk

Cushions, pictures and hearts oh my!
I've spent a good few weeks now sewing cushions, patchwork pictures and heart hangers for our new home as well as a scattering of wooden hearts and a wreath, our little house does look pretty and the garden front and back is now blooming too!
There's no place like home :)

Fantastic Friday!
The next big change happened on Good Friday this year, it was early morning and I'd only just woken up when Martin got down on his knees, produced a beautiful white gold diamond solitaire ring and proposed! Of course I said yes :) We then spent the Easter holiday and the following week moving me and all my things into Martin's lovely house.
Martin also converted one of the bedrooms into a craft studio for me with a fantastic large work desk, shelving unit, wall racks and a chest of drawers and so County Chic Crafts had a new home!

The Website
Ok well the first change was our company name and domain name, Pussy Willow's Country Crafts had received an onslaught of unsavoury emails due to that innocent word begining with P, that and losing my lovely Pussy Willow and my circumstances changing I decided it was for the best to change our name to Country Chic Crafts, a name that describes exactly what and who we are, and so a new domain name was registered and my web designer moved the old website in it's entirety to the new domain.
My lovely boyfriend then started the long and arduous task of retaking photos of my stock as the old pictures don't really show our things off to their best advantage, some new photos have been uploaded to the website now but it is going to be a very long process as most of my time is taken up with painting and sewing for new orders!

So much done, so much to do, so little time!
So much done, so much to do, so little time! Well such a lot has happened to us and there have been so many changes both to the website and my life in general that I just haven't had the time to blog!
I will fill in a few updates and try and keep them in cronological order :)
